Description
This course focuses on providing students with the information and methodologies needed to completely utilize financial and accounting tools with a focus on the challenges and specific needs of entrepreneurial ventures. This course emphasizes the importance of managing cash flows, ratio analysis, pro forma development, basic contract and general business structuring and implementing a business venture plan and/or strategy. Students will identify sources of information and engage in the process of understanding and gathering information from sources such as financial statements, inclusive of corporate 10Q and 10K filings. Students will review, study and evaluate business models of some of the world?s most successful entrepreneurs as well as the world?s most successful organizations.
