Description

This course combines programming and database management. It introduces students to R or Python programming language and its use in business analytics. The course also covers database design and management, database models, the use of SQL in data querying, normalization of database tables, and database integrity. This is a hands-on course where students will learn basic programming skills and apply them to case studies and a final project. Students will apply these programming skills and database management learned in this course in the next business analytics course as well.

Recommended Prerequisite: BA-600 (Formerly BA-728)
