Description
This course provides another opportunity for students to prepare their knowledge of business practices and be ready for industry experience. In particular, students assess their aptitude and skillsets for careers, explore various internship options, and improve their ability to communicate, deliver, and present themselves professionally in workplaces. In addition, students spend time mapping out the types of experiences or opportunities they want to pursue and be prepared for graduation.
The course consists of an academic component, which includes a series of progress reports designed to state their professional marketing experience and how that experience relates to their current GBC Marketing curriculum. Also, students complete a final report at the end of the semester. Instruction will be given to creating this report, which will be used to guide and evaluate success.
