Description

This course provides foundation information in management for Masters students. It examines human behavior within organizations through the perspective of the individual, through formal and informal groups, and through organization-wide processes. Management theories are explored along with a discussion of how they can be applied in the current business environment. Management topics are integrated with an understanding of the overall strategy of the organization. The course explores the tools by which the managers of organizations simultaneously improve the satisfaction of their employees while improving the overall performance of the firm to meet their strategic objectives.
